Linda Gale Stafford

Linda Gale Stafford, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on January 19, 2024. She was born on April 9, 1951, in Madison, Tennessee. Linda was a compassionate soul who dedicated her life to caring for others, particularly children. She found joy in baking and sewing, skills that she used to make countless memories with her loved ones. In her quiet moments, Linda delighted in the presence of red birds, which brought her a sense of peace and serenity.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Freeman, her brothers Eddie and Buster Freeman, and her grandson Joshua Wyatt Foley. 

 Linda is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Leonard "Red" Stafford. Their enduring love stood as a testament to the power of commitment and devotion.

She also leaves behind her children: Darleneia (Melissa Steward) Foley, James (Lisa) Stafford, and Lola (Timmy) Jarrett. and her sister Louise Honeycutt. 

As a grandmother, Linda played an extraordinary role in the lives of Brittany (Phylicia Roybal) Stafford, Courtenay (Chad) Alexander, Rebecca Jarrett, Jessie (Daniel) Petry, Tabitha (Zack) Robison, Alexis Jarrett. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and brought endless joy and laughter into her days.

Linda was blessed with great-grandchildren who filled her heart with immense happiness: Levi Alexander, Emery Alexander, Raegen Alexander, Ellie May Petry. Their innocent presence brought her comfort and a renewed sense of hope for the future.

In addition to her immediate family, Linda will be remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Her impact on their lives cannot be overstated, as she touched each of them with her gentle spirit and unwavering love.

The funeral services for Linda Gale Stafford will be held at Crestview Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation located at 1623 Hwy 109 N in Gallatin, Tennessee. The visitation will take place on January 23, 2024, starting at 2:00 PM and concluding at 7:00 PM. A second visitation will be held on January 24, 2024. The visitation will begin at 12:00 PM and end at 2:00 PM. Following the visitations, a Funeral Service will commence at 2:00 PM on January 24, 2024.
