Lewis A. Carnevale, age 95 of Gallatin passed away July 7, 2018 at his home. Mr. Carnevale was born on June 24, 1923 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Mr. Carnevale was born and raised in Bridgeport, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy during both World War II and the Korean Conflict. Following his military service, he worked as a photo engraver for many years before retiring with his late wife, Carolyne, to Daytona Beach, Florida. Lewis and Carolyne later moved to Gallatin, Tennessee to be near their son. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather; he will be deeply missed by his family. Mr. Carnevale was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyne Carnevale; he is survived by his son, William Wiest (Virginia); grandsons, William Wiest, Jr. (Dominique) and Brett Wiest (Pansy); and great-grandchildren, Taylor Stickle (Justice), Brett Wiest, Jr., Cassidy Wiest, Kaybren Wiest, Karsyn Wiest, Arianna Wiest, Stormie Roloff, Serena Roloff, Kaitlyn Roloff, Kyra Roloff, and Ashley Roloff. A Life Celebration Service honoring Mr. Carnevale will be held on Saturday, July 28th at 1:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Crestview Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will follow in Crestview Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, July 28th from 11 A.M. until service time.
