Leslie Bumbalough, Jr., age 85 of Castalian Springs passed away April 12, 2018 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. Mr. Bumbalough was born on June 16, 1932 to the late Leslie Bumbalough, Sr. and Maggie Mae Bumbalough. Les served proudly in the United States Air Force, retiring at the rank of Master Sergeant; he was the owner of Les' Pizza in Orange, Australia, Odham Park in Borenore, Australia, and most recently Red Chief Orchard in Gallatin, Tennessee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife and mother to his children, Virginia Bumbalough; sons, Matthew and Mark Bumbalough; and brothers, Charles E. Bumbalough, Buford J. Bumbalough, Willie V. Bumbalough, Edward D. Bumbalough, Harlen R. Bumbalough, and Estle Lee Bumbalough. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ann Bumbalough; sons, Michael L. Bumbalough (Jackie) and John J. Bumbalough (Connie); grandchildren, Dustin Bumbalough (Angela), Cheri Kelley (Lee), Michael Bumbalough (Rebecca Cameron), and Lynn Hernandez (Martin); 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A Life Celebration Service honoring Mr. Bumbalough will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018, 12:00 P.M. at Red Chief Orchard, 2400 Hartsville Pike, Castalian Springs, TN 37031.
