Mr. Larry Pruitt, 77, of Gallatin, passed away November 30, 2016. Larry was born in Gallatin on July 23, 1939 to the late Ed and Selma Pruitt. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by one son, Michael Hodges.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Missy) Pruitt; son Wesley Hodges; granddaughter, Amanda Dean Aguirre (John); four great- grandchildren, Ellie Stephens, Kelsie Stephens, Chloe Aguirre, Emelina Aguirre; two sisters, Patricia Pruitt Schlosser (John), Jessie Pruitt Porter (Larry); one brother, Richard Pruitt; nieces, Wendy, Heather, and Kristin; nephew, Jason.

Larry was a loving man with a big heart. He was a 1958 graduate of Gallatin High School and was proud of his hometown. He was also a proud Army Veteran. He loved to dance and was on the 5 O'clock Hop in the 50s. His family loved listening to his many stories, whether they were true or not. Larry will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

A Life Celebration will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 5, 2016 at Crestview Funeral Home in Gallatin. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00-8:00 P.M. and from 9:00 A.M until service time on Monday. Interment will be in Crestview Memory Gardens.
