A loving mother, and grandmother who departed this life on Monday, January 30, 2006 at her residence surrounded by her family. She courageously and victoriously persevered through pancreatic cancer, being an inspiration to all who knew her. "Katie" was a loyal employee with over 25 years of service to the Rivergate Sears store. She is survived by her daughters, Janice Escue Mike of Hendersonville, Sharon Walden Steve of Nashville, Frances Peters of Dallas, TX, Phyllis Randalls Dan of Hendersonville, Donna Williams Bobby of Hendersonville, Grandchildren, Brent Walden, Minneapolis, MN, Stephanie Conner Jason of Nashville, Daphne Rickard Rob of Dallas, TX, Whitney Peters Amina of Columbus, OH, Lindsay Peters of Dallas, TX, Hillary Peters, Dallas, TX., Taylor Randalls of Hendersonville, Lauren Randalls of Hendersonville, Tori Williams of Hendersonville, Robby Williams of Hendersonville, and 5 Great Grand-Children. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM on Thursday, February 2, 2006 from the Hendersonville Funeral Home with Michael Escue officiating. Interment will follow in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Family will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, February 1, 2006 from 4-8 P.M. and will resume on Thursday, February 2, 2006 from 9 A.M. until service time at the Hendersonville Funeral Home. Hendersonville Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
