Julia Ann Walker, age 79 of Gallatin passed away on Friday, January 1, 2010 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. A native of Sumner County, she was born to the late Stephen and Emily Foote Case. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her great grandchildren, Braxton Brown, and Madison Ann Page; and ten brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons, Richard Walker Donna Marie of Gallatin, James Walker of Whitehouse; daughter, Gail Beller of Gallatin; grandchildren, Amy del Rosario Jay of Hermitage, Philip Walker of Taylor, TX, Tracy Donoho-Shinault of Gallatin, Krista Page Robert of Portland, Bryant Walker of Bethpage, Brittany Brown Chris of Whitehouse; nine great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; sisters, Dorothy Lowder of Portland, Betty Crutcher of Portland; brothers, William Case of Portland, and Gerald Case Thelma of Yakima, Washington. Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Gallatin Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Exiley officiating. Entombment will follow in the Sumner Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Jay del Rosario, Brian Covington, Robert Page, Christopher Brown, Bryant Walker, and Tommy Shipley will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will begin on Sunday, January 3, at 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will resume on Monday at 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
