Joshua Robert Gordon, age 47 of Gallatin, passed away suddenly on September 21, 2019. Josh was born in Nashville, TN on February 23, 1972 to James Rodney Gordon and Vickie Ruth Hunter Champion. Josh enjoyed working on anything he could take apart and put back together, often creating unique gadgets; he was an ordained minister and was currently attending Luther Rice Seminary working on his degree. Josh was also a proud member of Grace Point Church in Gallatin. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Mike Champion; and his grandparents, John & Mildred Long and Robert & Lillian McGowan. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Gordon; son, Jimmy Gordon; mother, Vickie Champion; brothers, Joseph Gordon (Andrea) and Leo Champion (Virginia); and sisters, Kathi Jo Brancado (Chad) and Paula Schudar (John). A Celebration of Joshua's Life will be held on Tuesday, September 24th at 6:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Crestview Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Grubb officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. until service time.
