BOYLAND, Joseph W.-Big Street Entertainment. President Big Street Entertainment. Music publisher, producer and artist manager, passed away Wednesday, March 18th at Vanderbilt Hospital. His companies placed over 25 acts on record labels including: The Judds, Terri Clark, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Johnny Van Zant, Ashlee Cleveland, Robert Matarazzo and Devon Square. Boyland published hits worldwide for: Alice Cooper, Celine Dion, Jennifer Rush, .38 Special and Johnny Van Zant. Boyland co-managed Bad Company, Nazareth and Lynyrd Skynyrd and produced several recordings by Lynyrd Skynyrd including "Live From Steeltown." Joe is survived by his brother, Bill Boyland of NC; cousins, John Holdren of CO, Mark Lewis, Jennifer Chilton of NC, and all of his many friends.
