Joseph Boone

Joseph N. Boone, age 73 of Hendersonville, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Mr. Boone served in the United States Navy and as a Kentucky State Trooper. He was honored to have been commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel J. and Philistus T. Ball Boone; and his sister, Linda Darlene Boone. He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda L. Boone; children, Timothy Julie Boone, Darryl N. Karen Boone and Greg Stacy Boone; daughter, Susan Boone Bryan Callis, as well as their mother, Martha Richardson. He is also survived by his step-son, Tommy Cox; step-daughters, Kellie R. Cox and Teresa L. Ross; brothers, David Gerry Boone, Dale Jill Boone and Tony Judy Boone; grandchildren, Casey, Derek, Kelsey, Alan, Will and Kendall; and seven step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 P.M., Friday, October 23 from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with Jeff Lake officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 – 8 P.M. on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
