John Richard Miederhoff, age 75, of Gallatin, TN, passed away on September 15, 2016. Preceded in death by his parents, William and Daisy (Goodwin) Miederhoff, sisters, Linda Givens and Martha Myers.
Survived by his children; Johnny (Darlene) Brown, Cindy (Mike) Patton, Gayla (Ronnie) Darnell, Richard Miederhoff and William (Quinna) Miederhoff, brothers; Tommy (Ursula) Steele and James Miederhoff. John is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
John was born on November 14, 1940 in Jackson, MO. He worked as a corrections officer with the Tennessee Department of Corrections. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved to cook, especially desserts with a family favorite being fudge with rum. He enjoyed classic country music as well as some modern country. He was a loving family man and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A Life Celebration for John will be held at Crestview Funeral Home on Sunday, September 18th at 2:00PM, officiated by Pastor Chris Roberts. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until the time of the service. John will be laid to rest at Crestview Memory Gardens at a later date.
