John Samuel Calveard, age 55 of Hendersonville passed away May 20, 2018 at his home. Mr. Calveard was born on August 18, 1962 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Ralph Oliver Calveard and Dorothy Alberta Goodman Calveard. Sam was born and raised in Louisville, KY, later moving to Hendersonville, TN where he and his late wife, Beth, raised their two boys. He was a very talented musician and enjoyed working on and riding motorcycles. Sam was a member of the Joppa Lodge #411 F&AM in Gladeville, TN, he was a 32nd Degree Mason and member of the Scottish Rite; he was also a member of the Al Menah Shrine Temple in Nashville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beth Latham Calveard. He is survived by his sons, Will and Latham Calveard. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life on Sunday, May 27th from 1-3 P.M. at Crestview Funeral Home. A Masonic Service will follow at 3 P.M.
