Jerry Gordon Petty, age 79, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Sumner Regional Hospital. He was born on October 9, 1938. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Harry Gordon Petty and Grady Nell Durham.

Jerry was a hard working technician, he loved spending time working with wood and making things. He also loved to travel all over the US, but his favorite place to visit was Gatlinburg, TN. He loved all his children and grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be truly missed.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 33 years, Ms. Judy Perrigo Petty; children, Eugene Petty, Jerry Wesley Petty (Gail), Scotty Petty (Sherry), Holly Petty Bush (Mickey), Brian Gibbs, Keri Johnston (Trent), and Lori Lee (Chris); eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Crawford.

A life celebration will be held at 12pm, Tuesday, September 18th in the chapel at Crestview Funeral Home. Family will receive friends on Monday from 4-8pm and again on Tuesday from 11-12pm. Burial will be in Crestview Memory Gardens.
