Jerry Lee Jackson

Jerry Jackson, age 77, of Westmoreland, entered into rest on Thursday, April 10, 2025. He was born in Princeton, Illinois, on August 11, 1947.

As a young man, Jerry served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

He was married to his wife Donna, on September 9, 1998. Jerry was known to enjoy the outdoors, he loved to go fishing. He also spent his time bird watching, especially hummingbirds.

Jerry will be remembered for his sense of humor and bringing joy to those around him.

He will be dearly missed.

Jerry Lee Jackson is survived by his daughters Leasa Delp (Michael), Kerrie West (Ed), Vickie Gill (Paul), Leslie Merryman (Robert); step-children, Tishia Tucker (Lewis), Kelley Rouser (Jason), Wade Chadd (Maria); sister, Janet Jones (Charley); many grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 19 years, Donna Jackson; daughter, Rhonda Nicholas; step-son, Frankie Hurt; father, Virgil L. Jackson; mother, Marcella (Norton) Dickson; step-father, Floyd Dickson; brother, James Jackson, and sister, June Applen.

Following his cremation, a graveside service in honor of Jerry Jackson will take place on Monday, August 11, 2025, in Crestview Memory Gardens, at 10:00 A.M.
