Jayne Elizabeth Dillaha Ryder, 74, passed away peacefully following an extended illness. Born in Nashville, TN, Jayne was the daughter of the late Mary Frances Collins and Delton D. Dillaha.
Jayne graduated from Garden City (MI) High School and attended Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti.
In her lifetime, Jayne lived in Joplin, MO, Gallatin, TN, and lastly in Hampton Roads, VA, to be close to family. During her residence in VA, Jayne suffered the loss of her husband, Dr. David Ryder (d.2011), and daughter, Billie Jayne Joyner. A brother, Danny Dillaha, also precedes her in death. She was an avid bowler.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Corey Ryder and his wife, Cassandra; Grandkids, Catrelle Ryder Auvil, and her husband, Johnathan (VA), Kyle Joyner, his wife, Stephanie (GA), Zachary Joyner (MO), great-granddaughter, Cadence Auvil; brothers, Jim Dillaha, and his wife, Jan (FL), Kenny Dillaha (MI), and Larry Dillaha (AZ); and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Family and friends will gather 12 pm, Friday. February 17, 2017, for visitation, followed by a service celebrating Jayne's life at 2:00 pm, in Crestview Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestview Memory Gardens.
