92, of Greenwood, IN passed away on September 11, 2014. He was born on January 9, 1922 in Eaton, TN to James L. and Nancy Belle (Dycus) Inman.
James was a former member of Landmark Baptist Church. He was a WWII Veteran, fought in the Battle of the Bulge, and was awarded the Purple Heart.
James is survived by his sons, James (Pam) Inman, Jr., and Daniel "Chris" Inman; daughter, Diana (Charlie) O'Connor; stepdaughter, Carol Dowell (husband, Tom Morgan); stepson, Richard (Renee') Dowell; several precious grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Joseph (Norma Jean) Inman, of Gallatin, TN; and many friends at Greenwood Health and Living Community.
He was preceded in death by wives, Ruth Carver Inman and Elsie Dowell Inman; children, Michael Inman, Ronald Inman, and Donna Evans; and brothers and sisters.
A Life Celebration will be held 11:00am Monday at Crestview Funeral Home with burial to follow at Crestview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held 3:00pm - 7:00pm, Sunday at funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donor's choice.
