James Gregory

James David Gregory, age 81 of Gallatin passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Skyline Medical Center. A native of Sumner County, he was born to the late Paul and Willie Gregory. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Gregory of Gallatin, son, Mark Gregory Connie of Gallatin, grandson, Kyle Gregory of Gallatin, granddaughter, Adrian Johnson Michaelof Hendersonville, great-grandson, Cole Johnson of Hendersonville, brother, Paul Gregory Jr. Judy of Gallatin, sisters; Clara Ward Cliffof Donelson, Sue Minor of Auburn, KY, nephews; Nick Gregory Susanna of Cottontown, Tim Minor Robyn of Auburn, KY, nieces; Suzette Minor of Nashville, and Connie Michael Tom of Nashville. Mr. Gregory had been the National Store Manager in Gallatin for over 43 years, he was a member of the College Heights Baptist Church, and was a member of the Gallatin Lions Club for over 50 years. Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel of Gallatin Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Gilmore and Bro. Courtney Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Crestview Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Gallatin Lions Club. Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, November 19, at 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M., and 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M., and will resume on Thursday at 1:00 P.M. until service time.
