James Carroll

James Wilmont Carroll "Bill", age 88, of Hendersonville passed away on June 15, 2013. Mr. Carroll was an active member of Hendersonville First United Methodist Church. He was a World War II Navy veteran, where he served on the USS Makin Island. He was a retired electrician for Travis Electric. He will be remembered for his passion for airplanes and golfing. Mr. Carroll was a member of the Hendersonville R/C Flying Club. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eura and Lucy Carroll. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Lee Carroll, son, Jim Nancy Carroll, daughter, Melissa Garrone Wayne Thompson, son Matt Dianna Carroll, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held with the family on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 4-8pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home, and a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 11am at Hendersonville First United Methodist Church, with interment to follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. 353 Johnny Cash Pkwy Hendersonville, TN 37075 615-824-3855.
