ANDERSON, James Raymond - Age 82 of Kingston Springs passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 4, 2011. Mr. Anderson was a loving, friendly, selfless man that never met a stranger. He was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church for 14 years. He enjoyed working with wood, gardening, fishing and being a handyman. Preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Bryant Anderson and Eunice Roe Anderson; brother, Herman Anderson; grandson, Jon Gettle. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Marjorie McDonald Anderson; children, Cathy Gettle Mike, Dr. Reggie Anderson Karen and Tim Anderson Karen; Grandchildren, Jenn LaVigne Nick of Wyoming, MI, Kristen Kernaghan David of Belfast, Ireland, Ashley McCarthy Ciaran of Los Angeles, CA, Julia Chapman Caleb of Franklin, TN, David Anderson of Birmingham, AL, Lauren Anderson of Auburn, AL and Amanda Anderson of Huntsville, AL; sisters, Loyce Sexson of Montgomery, AL and Joyce McCall of Columbia, TN; brother, Clyde Anderson of Huntsville, AL. Visitation will be held Wednesday 4:00pm – 8:00pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
