Ms. Irene Elizabeth Lane, age 90, of Gallatin, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2020 at Sumner Regional Hospital. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 10, 1930 to the late William and Maggie Hawkins. She is also preceded in death by two brothers.

Ms. Irene was an avid Tennessee Volunteer fan and loved to watch football. She has spent the last two years of her life at Morningside in Gallatin and loved spending time with her new found family at Morngingside

Ms. Irene is survived by her son, Michael Eugene Lane; daughter, Margie Day Ramsey (James); grandchildren, Lisa Curtis (Milton), Gayla Gosnell, Tracie Dendy (Joby), Chris Carter (Heather), Hunter Ramsey (Ashley); 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and niece, Lynn Flatt.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm, Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Sumner Memorial Gardens.
