Homer Carter

Homer Reece Carter of Gallatin, TN passed away July 17, 2015 at the age of 80 years.

He worked as a self-employed mechanic and also a truck driver for Branham Trucking for many years.
Mr. Carter is preceded in death by his parents, Eric and Beulah Carter, and brother, Monroe Carter. He is survived by his loving wife, Mattie McCullough Carter; son, Barry R. Carter; daughter, Carisa A. Carter; grandchildren, Tiffany Conrad, Michael West, Zachary West, A'leigh Huddleston, Charlsey Huddleston, Noah Carter, Natalie Carter; great grandchildren, Kayman Barham, Christian Conrad, Ben Conrad, Jackson Conrad, Carter Conrad, Miley Conrad, Aiden Conrad; sisters, Martha Carter, Shirley Hundley, Laura Miller, Edna Wright; and brothers, James Dee Carter, Billy Martin Carter, Bill Carter and Edwin Carter.
The family will be receiving friends at Crestview Funeral Home, 1623 Hwy 109 North, Gallatin, TN on Monday, July 20th from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 21st from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens.
