Hillard Ezell Mangrum or better known as "Pop"
Born September 13, 1934. Ezell was the oldest of three children, sister Lee and brother Vernon.
In 1953 he met Louise Imogene Gordon; she was to become his bride two years later. Shortly after they married, Ezell was drafted into the Army and was stationed at Fort Riley Kanas for two years.
They soon found out they were expecting their first child, a little girl they named Cheryl Denise, soon after they were blessed with two more children, a son Anthony Greg, and another Daughter Stephanie Michelle.
Ezell supported his family by being a supervisor at Tennessee Tufting where he was employed for twenty-five years, he also worked with his best friend Clyde Hill for several years in a moving business. He was also a maintenance man at Maple Village Apartments in Fairview for twelve years.
Ezell became "Pop" after the grandchildren started arriving, he and Imogene or "Granny" have thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Pop and Granny have been married for fifty-five wonderful years.
"Pop" loved life, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, he loved going to church and praising the Lord, and listening to gospel music, especially Blue Grass. He spent many weekends traveling with Leipers Fork Blue Grass Band.
"Pop" lived life to the fullest, and was happiest when he was helping others.
He was a wonderful man loved by all who knew his, and he will be greatly missed. "WE LOVE YOU "POP""
