Henry Atkeison

ATKEISON, Jr., Rev. Henry C. Age 82 of Spring Hill. November 29, 2009, peacefully at home after an extended illness. Preceded in death by parents, Henry C. Atkeison, Sr. and Josie Sills and wife, Bobbye Ann Atkeison. Survived by wife, Linda Tilley Atkeison; son, Jim Joan Atkeison; grandson, Johnathan Atkeison; stepson, Tim Melissa Tilley; stepdaughter, Kim Cannon and step grandchildren, Clint, Shelley, Skylar and Dakota. Rev. Atkeison, affectionately known to many as Brother Henry was a retired minister and realtor. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Dr. Ivan Raley and Reed Buntin officiating. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 12-2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers, Johnathan Atkeison, Tim Tilley, Jimmy Taunton, Hoffman Harless, Dan McNamara and Clint Tilley. The family would like to thank the kind and compassionate caregivers of Guardian Hospice, Linda Meisel with Comfort Keepers and a very special heartfelt thanks to Carrie Stafford with Comfort Keepers and Doctors Paul Thomas, Arthur Williams and Gretchen Campbell.
