GLADYS WHITTEN HURT, age 84 of Hendersonville, Tn., Saturday, March 19, 2011. Survived by her husband of 65 years, John Frederick Hurt, Jr.; daughter, Julie Russell Asbridge; son, John Frederick Hurt, III; sisters, Louise Massey Wallace and Edith Thompson; grandson, Scott Asbridge and great grandson Dylan Asbridge. Her family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Monday March 21 and from 2 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m. on Tuesday March 22 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor John McClendon. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Interment will be in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
