Gertrude Duke

DUKE, Gertrude Maxwell Age 78 years. Passed from this life on November 20, 2005 at her residence, surrounded by her family and friends. Mrs. Duke was a member of the Richland Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Howard G. Maxwell; and her second husband, Glenn A. Duke. She is survived by her children, Larry Kathleen Maxwell, daughter, Miriam Ted Richardson; step-son, Sandy Ellen Duke; grandchildren, Kimberly Jay Nelson, Brandon Richardson, Mark Richardson, Abby Jason Dodson; great grandson, Reagan Nelson; step-gradnchildren, Alan Duke, Whit Duke, Kyle Duke, Kristi Rick Thomson; step great-grandchildren, Zack Thomson, Whiney and Mary Duke; brothers, Woodrow Ruth Crabtree, Bob Wanda Crabtree, Bill Crabtree; sisters, Mary Walton, Dottie Elliott, and Fern Charles Roche. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday November 23, 2005, at 11:30am from the West Harpeth Chapel with Bro. Billy Hill officiating. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers: Brandon Richardson, Mark Richardson, Jay Nelson, Jason Dodson, Alan and Whit Duke. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 12noon until 8pm and Wednesday from 9am until service time.
