Gary Phillip Kelley, 69, of Gallatin, passed away on November 17, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 4, 1948 in Nashville TN to the late Clifton and Edith Gertrude Kelley.
Gary had a big sense of humor. He loved to laugh and make others laugh; and was very mischievous. He was very strong on keeping his word, if he said he was going to do something, you knew it would be done. He was a big pocket knife trader and coin collector. He was part of the historical restoration in Portland and member of Church of the First Born and Trustee. He was known as the best auctioneer around. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. While growing up with two sisters, he was known as "the golden child." He was a very loving husband, dad, grandfather, and brother who will be truly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Shelia Kelley; two sons, Brian (Cherie) Kelley and Scott (Jeannie) Kelley; four grandchildren, Samantha, Reagan, Lauren, and Hannah; and two sisters, Cathy (Mark) Frizzell and Patsy (Tim) Harden.
A life celebration will be held 1pm Monday, November 20th at Crestview Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-6pm and again one hour prior to the service.
