Freda Stroud

STROUD, Freda Beasley. Born April 1, 1929 in Carlisle, Tennessee to Thurman and Tommye Beasley, she moved to Nashville in 1947 and married Don Stroud on May 14, 1949. Freda spent her working career in the Medical Records Department of Vanderbilt Hospital and in the Guidance office at several Metro schools. She was a member of Brook Hollow Baptist Church for 47 years. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Karen. Freda is survived by her husband, Don, son, Greg Julia of Jacksonville, Florida, grandchildren, Justin of New York City, Elizabeth of Dallas, Texas, and Lealand of Nashville. Funeral services will be 12pm Monday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
