Frank Gregg - Age 75, of Gallatin, passed away December 11, 2015.
He is preceded in death by father, Clovis F. Gregg, Sr; mother, Claudia I. Smith; brother, Kenneth L. Gregg. Survived by his wife, Sharlene K. Gregg; son, Jeff Bowman; sister, Shirlee A. Cole of St. Louis, MO and her family; step-mother, Janet Gregg of Olive Branch, MS; several nieces, nephews & extended family.
Frank Served in the US Army from July 1963 through June, 1966, reaching the rank of Sergeant and was honorably discharged. He spent his service time in California, Texas and later in Germany where he received a Top Security Clearance while a member of an Army Aviation Detachment during Viet Era Conflict.
Frank was a graduate from Central Michigan University, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and conducted himself professionally throughout his career. An avid golfer, he was an accomplished musician and earlier in life wanted to pursue a professional bowling career in St. Louis, MO and later in California.
Frank was a heavy reader of news and regularly sent articles to local and national publications and had a passion for conservatism. People will remember him for his willingness to quietly assist others without seeking reward or recognition.
He spent most of his career in the business world having achieved the level of manager in Accounting, Materials Control and later Human Resources, before leaving industry to take on a new role as President and Owner of GREGG & Associates, a contingency search firm recruiting candidates for a variety of Fortune 500 Companies throughout the United States. He and his wife Sharlene ran the firm successfully from 1996 until his passing.
A Life Celebration will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, December 16th with burial to follow. Visitation will be 12:00pm until time of service at Crestview Funeral Home 1623 Hwy 109 N Gallatin TN, 37066 615-452-1943 crestviewfh.com
