Fabian Wojtowicz, age 69 of Gallatin, passed away February 12, 2017 after a brief illness. Predeceased by his parents Tadeusz Wojtowicz and Maria Gajewska Wojtowicz. Survived by his loving wife of 46 years Susan Doherty Wojtowicz, sister Elizabeth Wojtowicz, daughters Karen Wagner (Brian) and Cathy Jones (Greg), sisters-in-law Kathleen Bulfer and Debbie Tait and granddaughter Brighid Wagner.

Fabian was born in Aschaffenburg, Germany in 1947 emigrating to New York with his mother and sister at the age of 9. After graduating from the Borough of Manhattan Community College in 1967 he proudly served 3 years in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam Era. After leaving the army he worked at Citibank for 25 years earning many accolades. He then went to work for AFTRA Health and Pension Fund for 15 years before retiring in 2008 and moving to Gallatin, TN in 2014. He had an adventurous childhood and could spin stories for hours. He will be greatly missed. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 16th from 4-7 P.M. at Crestview Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 17th at 10:00 A.M. from Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Hendersonville.
