Elizabeth Reed

Elizabeth Carol Reed- age 75 went to be with the Lord on May 23, 2014. She was born to the late Harold & Ruby Sterratt on December 6, 1938 in Portland, TN. She was raised by her late aunt and uncle Bessie & Charlie Hannah due to her parents passing away when she was just a young girl.
Carol was a woman of faith who loved the Lord. She attended the House of Grace Church of Gallatin. She loved reading and also enjoyed listening to music. One of her proudest moments in life was working for H.A.T.S. as the business manager. She always referred to this as "My few minutes of glory". She touched the lives of many and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Glen Reed. She is survived by her sister, Ara Jane Gray; nieces, Tresa Street (Michael), Pam Lyons (Steve) and Kathy Lynch; nephew, Shawn Gray; great-niece, Cher Day (Brian); cousins, Laraine Davis, Wanda Ward & Ruth Huntsman; special friends, Joyce Haines, Edna Sloan and Donna Long; numerous other friends and family also survive.
A life celebration service will be held Wednesday at 12pm in the chapel of Crestview Funeral Home with burial to follow in Crestview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10-12p.m. at Crestview Funeral Home 1620 Hwy 109 N Gallatin, TN 37066 (615) 452-1943 crestviewfh.com
