Edward Hooper, Sr.

HOOPER, Edward Calvin, Sr. "E.C.", age 88 of White Bluff passed away October 24, 2009. Mr. Hooper was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Penelou Dickerson Hooper. He is survived by his daughters, Linda Jerry Overbey, Sandra Phil Turbeville, and Marvine Hooper Johnson; sons, Sonny Rhoda Hooper, Wayne Linda Ann Hooper, and Ronnie Joyce Hooper; sister, Clara Dickerson Schreiber, brother, Roy Jean Hooper; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers, and honorary pallbearers will be members of Claylick Volunteer Fire Dept. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 27th at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of West Harpeth Funeral Home with Bro. Calvin Parker and Bro. Doug Couch officiating. Interment will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Claylick Volunteer Fire Department. Visitation with the family will be on Monday from 11 A.M.-8 P.M. and Tuesday 11 A.M. until service time 2 P.M. at WEST HARPETH FUNERAL HOME, 6962 Charlotte Pike, 615352-9400
