DERRICK, Edward Hiller-Age 74 of Nashville died December 27, 2006. Born on October 18, 1932. Graduated from Father Ryan in 1950. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1954. Preceded in death by parents, Bill and Polly Derrick, daughter, Catherine Marie Derrick and brother Thomas Joseph Derrick. Survived by his wife of fifty years, Shirley Ann Derrick; daughters, Debbie Reale Pete, Vicky Nolan, Dorothy Barrett Joe, Jennifer Spiceland, Michelle Lamb Mark, Shelbyville, TN, Kelly Carter Adam, Santa Rose Beach, FL, Mellissa Greer Tim, Stacie Timmons Dustin, Jacqueline Weatherly Ricky; sons, Joseph Edward Derrick Teresa, Robert David Derrick, Sr. Kim, Kingston Springs, TN, Phillip Anthony Derrick; sisters, Polly Curran, LaVergne, TN, Monnie Watson; brothers, Bill Derrick, Lawrenceburg, TN, Jim Derrick, Fernvale, TN, Mike Derrick, Bob Derrick; 31 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers grandsons, Tony Reale, Chris Reale, Pat Nolan, Tommy Nolan, Jacob Barrett, Paul Derrick, Justin Nix, Tyler Derrick, Robert Derrick, Steve Trotter, Hunter Hutson, Carson Greer, Dylan Timmons, Sam Weatherly, Honorary pallbearers, his beloved brothers and uncle Joe Morgan. Visitation will be Thursday 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.-8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m.
