Earl White Age 78 of Castalian Springs passed away August 7, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Earl was a patient, gentle, yet strong willed man who would do anything for anybody. He loved people, working with his hands, and playing his fiddles, guitars or mandolins. He was a musician at heart passed down from his father and to him from his father. He played for the past 58 years at The Grand Ole Opry and on the road in various places before that. He was a great husband, father, friend and man who was one of a kind. Heaven is a better place with him in it.

Preceded in death by his parents, Lina Combs White & Randall Earl White. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Anita Joyce Robinson White; daughters, Angela White Sievers & Tina White; grandchildren, Eric Sievers, Brittany Sievers, Blaine Harris & Tyler Harris; great-granchildren, Christopher Sievers, Alyssa Sievers & Nathan Sievers; sister, Fran White McMurtry; several extended family members and friends.
