Dorothy Reeves

Reeves, Dorothy Joyce, passed away May 4, 2011 at the age of 74 surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her brother, parents and late husband Billy Dunn who left this world in 1980. She is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years Joel Leon Reeves; children, Linda Carol Jerry Wommack of Ripley, MS., David Owen Flo Dunn of LaVergne, TN; step-children, Charles Reeves Danette of Calhoun, TN, Lynn Boldin of Nashville; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Dorothy was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and a long time member of Park Ave Baptist Church in Nashville, where she touched the lives of many. She will be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Odyssey Healthcare for the wonderful care they provided. A Life Celebration Service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Brother Bob Mowrey and David Warner officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
