Dalen Craig Henderson

Dalen Craig Henderson, age 45, of Castalian Springs, TN, passed away unexpectedly on June 20th, 2024. He was born in Nashville, TN on December 7th, 1978. Dalen is preceded in death by his grandparents Ann and Chuck Sullivan, grandmother Daisy Henderson, cousin Kristin Joslin Howe, and his stepfather Terry Sague. He is survived by his mother Cheryl Sague and brother Derek Henderson. He also leaves behind his aunts and uncles Sharon (Robert) Craig, Sheri (Tim) Ramey, Tom (Ann) Sullivan Jr., and John Sullivan, and his cousins PJ, Misty, Levi, and Erin. As well as many other relatives and friends: Bricen, Ryder, Aislynn, Logan, Kelsie, Jesse, Addison, Myla, Peighton, Annslie, Kaelin, and Leah.

Dalen was a man of strong Christian faith. Although he did not attend a church with four walls, he practiced his faith fervently on his own, keeping his personal bible close to him always. Dalen was a graduate of McGavock High School. His journey through life was marked by a deep passion for the things that brought him joy. Dalen harbored a deep fascination for astronomy; the vast expanse of the night sky was his playground. With an unparalleled ability to spot constellations and a recent venture to witness a solar eclipse, he found solace in the beauty of the cosmos. Additionally, he cherished moments spent immersed in video games with his family, where his playful banter and competitive spirit shone through.

Described as kindhearted and possessing a superb sense of humor, Dalen was no stranger to mischief. His silly and goofy nature endeared him to many as he filled their lives with laughter and joy. There is seldom a photo with him sporting a serious face. Vivacious and boisterous in his expressions of love for all that mattered to him, he tackled life with intelligence and quick wit that never failed to impress.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, June 29th, 2024, at Crestview Funeral Home – Memory Gardens & Cremation Center located at 1623 Hwy 109 N, Gallatin, TN 37066, from 4PM until 7PM.
