Dale Conrad

CONRAD, Dale Hart -age 88 of Franklin, passed away on March 4, 2011. Dale was born in Kansas on Dec. 15, 1922. Dale was preceded in death by her husband, Len, of 58 years and two sons Steve and Michael. She is survived by 8 children, Sally Bill Clinard, Chris Gary Gasiewski, Judy Conrad, Lee Michael Kemsley, Katy Dan Mills, Bill Kathy Conrad, Joe Conrad, Pete Trish Conrad and daughter-in-law Carol Conrad. She is also survived by 23
grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Dale earned a B.S. degree at Fort Hays St. University and taught school in Milwaukee, WI and Nashville, TN. She most enjoyed spending time with her family. Her favorite hobbies were her volunteer work at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Cheekwood, Ladies of Charity, and Graceworks. Dale was an avid knitter and crocheter of prayer shawls which were donated to her church. Visitation will be held Monday, March 7 from 5 to 7 at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, March 8 at 11:00 am at St. Matthew Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Matthew Catholic Church, or Alive Hospice.
