Mr. Clyde E. Osburn, age 80, of Gallatin, passed away on December 1, 2021. He
was born on January 8, 1941 to the late Tim and Oliva Osburn. He is also preceded
in death by one son, Tim Hicks; and his siblings, Isa, Mary, Nola, Janice, and
Johnny.
Clyde is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mrs. Nancy Osburn; children, Robin
(Larrin) Habeger and Bill (Cheryl) Hicks; eight grandchildren, nine great
grandchildren; brother, James Osburn. He is also survived by several nieces and
nephews.
Clyde was a hard worker who loved God and his family. He attended church
regularly at Joy Church in Mount Juliet and later at Free Indeed Fellowship in
Gallatin. Clyde was a kind, gentle, and wise man who was always ready to help
anyone in need. He gave the best advice and could fix just about anything! He
enjoyed going to church, watching the Buckeyes play, spending time with his
grandkids, and being retired from his truck driving career. He was a faithful
provider and companion to his sweetheart, Nancy. He will be greatly missed.
The family takes great comfort in knowing that he is in the loving arms of Jesus
now. 2 Corinthians 5:8
