Clifton Davis, Jr.

Clifton Davis, Jr., age 74 of Hendersonville and formerly of Union City, passed away February 11, 2019 at Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, TN. Mr. Davis was born on January 18, 1945 in Troy, TN to the late Clifton Davis, Sr. and the late Cordelia Laverne Morphis Davis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Davis on October 23, 2016; and his brother, Dale Davis. Cliff was a lifelong resident of Obion County; he served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam, he was a proud Vietnam Veteran; he was a member of the Bishop Street Church of Christ; and was retired from AT&T after 35 years of service. He is survived by his daughters, Dana Wright (Jody) of Hendersonville, and Carolyn Carter (Timmy) of Union City; grandchildren, Zachary Wright of Nashville, Destiny Sharp of Union City, Brianna Garner of Union City, Alexia Neyhart of Maryland, and Isabella Wright of Hendersonville; 3 great-grandchildren; and siblings, William Fred Davis of Columbus, OH, James Davis of Orlando, FL, and Wanda Reed of Union City. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home in Union City, TN. Interment with military honors will follow in the Salem Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 12:00 P.M. until time of service.
