Age 60 of Gallatin, Tennessee went to be with his Lord and Savior on the morning of September 8, 2015.
Cliff was a loving husband, devoted father, a hard worker, and above all, a Christian. He was a member of New Vision Church, where he attended every Sunday. He was active in Celebrate Recovery which is Christ-centered recovery program for those struggling with addictions. On many occasions he reached out to others and shared his powerful testimony. Cliff had a true gift in his ability to touch the lives of recovering addicts and to reach them wherever they might be on the road to recovery. It was his desire that all might come to Christ and be forgiven and rest in the forgiveness that only He could give.
Cliff enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and simply being outdoors where he could marvel at creation. He liked to listen to praise and worship music and relished reading a spiritually uplifting book. Nourishing both his body and soul was a priority to Cliff. He found inspiration from those influential in his life; his wife, Julie, Haskel Akins, Rudy Brasswell, Billy Bowers, and Joshua Legg. Julie will always cherish the time she and Cliff spent in devotion each morning.
Preceded in death by his father, Edwin McIntosh.
Survived by his loving wife, Julie McIntosh; sons, Jason (Lori) McIntosh, Michael McIntosh; daughter, Christy McIntosh; grandchildren, Zach, Bryce, Myla, and Reece; mother, Faye McIntosh; sister, Diane Kilgore; and brother, Gary McIntosh.
Those serving as pallbearers are Marvin Hampton, Mike Cothron, Burt Troutt, Keith McDonald, Wayne Cain, Billy Wilson, Ralf Frampton, Brian Newberry, and Gary Dixon.
A life celebration will be held on Friday, September 11 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 10 from 1:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and on Friday, September 11 from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. All services will be held at the funeral home.
