Cheryl Murzyn

Cheryl Jean Murzyn (nee Rundle), age 62, passed away peacefully Friday, October 14, 2022. She is survived by her husband Patrick, daughter Katie (Anthony), son Chris, granddaughter Ellie, sister Loretta, and brother Timothy.

Cheryl was a devoted wife, caring mother, and adoring grandmother who enjoyed traveling, exploring new places and celebrating life with her family. Cheryl was a true friend and formed treasured relationships that endured time and multiple moves around the country.

Cheryl lived with a passion for helping and educating children. In the roles of Head of School, Principal, Vice-Principal, and Teacher for over 40 years, she dedicated herself to making a difference in the lives of thousands of students, families, educators, and staff members. Generous all the way to the end, Cheryl most recently volunteered her time helping as a literacy tutor and as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). Her leadership and compassion will be dearly missed by all.

A memorial service will be offered for Cheryl.  Please contact the family for details.
