Charles Wesley Rhodes passed away April 14, 2015 at the age of 48 years. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Gracie Snider, Hoyd and Inez Rhodes, Sr.; great grandmother, Fannie Rhodes; and uncle, James Love. Mr. Rhodes is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Annette Brown Rhodes; "Buddy" the child-yorkie; parents, Hoyd and Leona Rhodes, Jr.; brother, Erron Rhodes; parents- in-law, Earl & Sue Brown; and a multitude of loving family and friends. Mr. Rhodes was a Christ Follower, loving husband, devoted son and brother. A 1984 graduate of Portland High School, he was employed by Town and Country Ford in the Parts & Service Department.
A member of the Long Hollow Baptist Church, Gallatin Campus, a 2014 graduate of Christian Training Institute (CTI), Smiles Unlimited Clown College, Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Baily Circus workshop, as well as a member of the Christian Magician Ministry, artist and entertainer, he brought smiles to the old & young alike. He was also very popular during the Christmas Season, portraying Santa whenever the occasion presented.
Mr. Rhodes enjoyed memberships in International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM), Local IBM Ring 37 & 252, International Fellowship of Christian Magicians (FCM), & Middle Tennessee FCM.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 15th from 12:00PM - 8PM, Thursday, April 16th, 4PM-8PM, and Friday, April 17th 2 hours prior to the service time of 1PM. The Service will Celebrate the Life of Charles Wesley Rhodes. As a lover of balloons & festive occasions, the family requests that balloons be incorporated into any arrangements sent as there will be a balloon release at the graveside.
