Age 91 of Portland passed away December 7, 2014.

Mr. Cummings was a good man that loved people. In all his years he had never met a stranger. He was always joking with everyone one he met. He enjoyed traveling to many places but going to the beach and collecting seashells was his favorite. He also enjoyed reading and spending time with his family. He was a Christian man that attended church at Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church. He lived a long, full life and will be dearly missed.

Preceded in death by his Parents, Hetti Ray Cummings & Alonzo Cummings. Survived by his wife of 70 years, Kathleen P. Cummings; children, Sally Wise & Donald Cummings (Debbie); grandchildren, Anthony Cummings, Kelly Payne, Kristina Cummings, Kim Cummings; great-grandchildren, Katie Cummings, Mia Payne, and Addison Cummings; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

A Life Celebration will be held 1:00pm Wednesday December 10, 2014 at Crestview Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11:00am - 1:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church or the Charity of your choice.
