Carolyn Overton

Carolyn S. Overton, 71, died Sunday April 2, 2017, at The Bridges at Highland, in Portland, Tennessee, with her beloved family by her side. Carolyn was born in 1945, to Lindell S. and Nadine Rutherford, in the town of Harrisburg, Illinois. Carolyn was a Judicial Commissioner in Rutherford County for many years, and was proud of the work she did.

Carolyn is survived by her Sons, Dusty Overton (Amber), and Billy D. Overton. A Daughter, Donna S. Buckman. Two sisters, Freda White and Linda Williamson. Two brothers, Larry and Gary Rutherford. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.

There will be no local services for Carolyn, but a family service will be held at a later date in Illinois.
