BORNSTEIN, Buddy Wayne- Age 76 departed this life on February 25, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. Buddy was a graduate of Bellevue High and a member of the Capitol City Golf Association, Brentwood Shriners Golf Group and Sweathogs & Hooligans. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason of the Observance Lodge #686, and a Shriner. Loved by all, Buddy leaves many dear friends to cherish the memory of his life. Proceded in death by parents, James Norman & Agnes Lamberth Bornstein; wife, Shirley Todd Bornstein. Survived by daughter, Vicki Bornstein Barnes Wayne; son, Daryl Bornstein Jan; brothers, James H. Bornstein & John K. Bornstein Shirley; sisters, Norma Sue Hughes James, Agnes Marie Jones, Marjorie Rhea Smith Gordan; grandchildren, Brandon Wayne Bornstein, Lacy Lanier, Devon Bornstein, David Barnes Hannah, Michael Barnes Sara great-grandchildren, Natalie & Brighton Barnes; special friend, Amy; and her children, Abigail, Kathleen, and Shawn; a host of nieces and nephews, as well as a faithful canine, Sadie. Funeral service will be 2pm Monday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Chris Smith Officiating. Burial will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Active Pallbearers will be nephews.
