Bonnie Lynn Stockdale

Bonnie Lynn Stockdale, age 76, of Gallatin, went to be with her Lord on April 9, 2025. She was born in Portland, Tennessee, to her parents Johnnie and Sarah Stewart. She was one of twelve children.

Bonnie loved the Lord with all her heart, and she embodied the fruits of the spirit. She was notoriously loving, kind, and joyful. All of which made her a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Bonnie was cherished by all who knew her.

She enjoyed cross word puzzles, watching hummingbirds, and spending time with her family. Bonnie and her sisters took several trips to the mountains together. When she was able, Bonnie loved being outdoors and admiring her flowers.

Although she will be dearly missed, Bonnie is reunited with her beloved husband and her family who has passed before her.

Bonnie Lynn Stockdale is survived by her son, Keith Stockdale (Emily); daughter, Kellie Johnson (Doug); grandchildren, Caleb Stockdale, Preston Stockdale (Ashley), Kirsten Kinney (Kaleb); great-grandchildren, Addison Stockdale, Aiden Stockdale; siblings, Johnnie Stewart, Mike Stewart, Kenny Stewart, Eddie Stewart, Lonnie Stewart, Amy Brooks, Erlene Hickey, Tammey Groves, Ilona Estes; and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert G. Stockdale; father, Johnnie H. Stewart Jr.; mother, Sarah Belle (Wiseman) Stewart; and siblings, Gary Stewart, and Pat Stewart.

Funeral Services in honor of Mrs. Bonnie Stockdale will be conducted at Crestview Funeral Home and Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., and again on Wednesday, April 16, starting at 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.

Pastor David Mitchell will be officiating the funeral service at 2:00 P.M. Interment in Crestview Memory Gardens will immediately follow.
