Mr. Bobby R. Stewart, 74, of Bethpage, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 27, 2017. He was born in Bethpage, TN on September 2, 1943 to the late Ezra Dee and Maggie Lou Stewart. Bobby is also preceded in death by siblings, Mary Katherine Riley, H.G. Stewart, Tommy Stewart, and Bill Stewart.

Mr. Bobby enjoyed everything drag racing; although he did not race himself, he loved everything about it. He was a hardworking man who kept himself busy with working on something. He loved finding someone to talk to, or as his family says, finding someone to aggravate. He also loved NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt. Bobby married the love of his life, Mrs. Beverly Tanner Stewart on October 2, 1966 and together they had three children. He was a loving family man and will be truly missed.

Mr. Bobby is survived by his wife of 51 years, Beverly Stewart; children, Laura Stewart (David Russell), Gary Stewart, and Derek (Kelsey) Stewart; four grandchildren, Caleb Dorris, Justin, Brady, and Carson Stewart; one great-grandchild, Kyson; and three siblings, Joe (Dotty) Stewart, Carolyn Smith, and Shirley Frye.

A life celebration will be held 12pm Monday, October 30 at Crestview Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-8pm and again on Monday from 10-12pm with burial at Crestview Memory Gardens. Crestview Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. 1623 Hwy 109 N, Gallatin TN 37066.
