Bobby Howe

Bobby Edward Howe, age 82 of Hendersonville, passed away on February 25, 2011. Mr. Howe was a proud veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a graduate of Gardner-Webb and Duke Universities. He worked in management with Sears Roebuck and Co., retiring in 1985. He was an active member of the Hendersonville First United Methodist Church, serving on the Administrative Board and with the United Methodist Men. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy H. Howe; daughters, Carla Howe David Godfrey and Arden Howe Ron Moore; sister, Patricia William Roberts; and his grandchildren, Collin and Glynna Godfrey and Abbie and Cameron Moore. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 from the Hendersonville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Lynn Hinkle and Rev. Don Hutchinson officiating. Entombment will follow in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens Chapel of Memories Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4 P.M. until 7 PM, Monday, February 28 at Hendersonville Funeral Home and from 10 AM until 10:30 AM Tuesday at the church.
