Bobbie Jean Hill, age 48, of Gallatin, TN, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020.

She was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts to Robert and Eleanor (Higgins) Fernandes. The family later moved to Hendersonville, TN, where Bobbie attended T. W. Hunter Middle School and Beech Senior High School. After graduating in 1990, she married Scott Hill on October 20.

Bobbie had a bubbly personality. Her smile lit up any room, and her laughter was contagious. She had a servant's heart and would selflessly do for others. She treated her friends like family, and she loved her family.

Bobbie was a school bus driver for Sumner County Schools. She was fondly referred to as "Miss Bobbie" by the students on her bus and many of their parents. When out in the community, she was often approached by her bus families who simply wanted to let her know that she was appreciated.

She is survived by her husband Scott Hill of Gallatin, TN; son, Justin Blain Fernandes (Amy) of Gallatin, TN; daughter, Brittney Nichole Whitworth (Matt) of Springfield, TN; son, Robert Wyatt Hill (fiancée, Rose Daugherty) of Springfield, TN; son, Seth Ryan Hill of Gallatin, TN; five grandchildren, Skyla, Seanna, Syrra, and Sebastian; and great-grandchild, Rosey. Bobbie is also survived by her parents, Robert (Bob) and Eleanor Fernandes of Castalian Springs, TN; sister, Darlene Hunter (Wade) of Goodlettsville, TN; sister, Toni Flynn (Todd) of Piperton, TN; sister, Holly Eddings (Andy) of White House, TN; and 7 nieces and nephews, Joseph, Dakota, Jason, Cassie, Kayla, Degun, and Christian.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 3pm to 7pm at Crestview Funeral Home 1623 Hwy 109 N., Gallatin, TN 37066. The funeral will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at St. John Vianney Church 449 N. Water Ave., Gallatin, TN 37066. Burial will follow at the Crestview Memory Gardens.
