Blanche Courter, age 79 of Gallatin passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2010. A native of Michigan, she was born to the late Grandon and Grace Jennings. She was also preceded by a sister, Bernice Gray. She is survived by her children, Dale Lee Van Camp Susan of Flint, MI, Robert G. Burns of Gaines, MI, Carolyn Patty Jeff of Gallatin; grandchildren, Jennifer Hammill, Samantha Van Camp, Christina Craig, Robert Burns, Jeremy Burns, Angelia Sanchez, Austin Patty; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Sherman Jennings. Memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Gallatin Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Ferrell officiating. Inurnment will take place on Monday morning at the Sumner Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service on Sunday. Gallatin Funeral Home & Memory Gardens at Crestview is in charge of the arrangements.
