Betty Rose Gaulden Stone

Mrs. Betty Rose Gaulden Stone, age 75, passed away on November 9, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 12, 1947 in Greensboro, NC to the late James and Grace Gaulden. Along with her parents, she is preceded by 3 brothers, 7 sisters; and one granddaughter, Maegan Stone.

Betty Rose had a contagious laugh and a kind, hearted smile. She loved her family and most of all loved God and had a strong faith. She was a member of Freedom  Church for many years. Her favorite time of year was Christmas, she loved decorating the inside and outside of her house, and enjoyed spending countless hours watching Christmas and Christian movies. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will  be truly missed.

Betty Rose is survived by her husband of 55 years, Mr. Sam Stone; children, Lisa (Billy) Bryson and Gary (Rachel) Stone; grandchildren, Brandon, Brittani, Ryan, Christopher, Katlyn, Hailey, Sadie, and Hannah; great grandchildren, Hannae, Zoie, Abby, River, Bentley, Asher, and Layla; one brother, Jay (Faye) Gaulden; and a host of nieces and nephews and in laws that are more like brothers and sister.

A life celebration will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, November 15th in the chapel of Crestview Funeral Home with burial at Crestview Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 1-2pm prior to the service.
