Ben Smith

SMITH, Ben H. Age 82 years, passed away March 31, 2011. Mr. Smith retired from Tem Co after 45 years of service. He then worked several more years and retired from Brisken Mfg. He was a life long member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and a servant. He was loved dearly by his family and friends and will be missed. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lavelle Martin Smith; daughters, Joyce Robert Minchey; Nancy Ronnie Temple; Rhonda Sam Brown; son, Kenneth Holly Smith; grandchildren, Mary Blake Herron, Beverly Minchey, Amanda Mike Jones, Ronnie Temple, Jr., Benjermin Smith, Page Smith, Samuel Brown, John Brown; one sister, Mainell Moss Abel; four great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at 12noon at the West Harpeth Funeral Home with interment following in Salem Cemetery in Liberty, TN. Nephews and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
